About us
Sub2me is an independent app and game review site built around one simple frustration: most app “reviews” online are rewritten marketing copy. Store descriptions get paraphrased, weaknesses get skipped, and readers walk away knowing exactly what the developer wanted them to know — and nothing else.
We started Sub2me in 2026 to do the opposite. Every review on this site is built from real, verifiable data: official Google Play statistics, full rating distributions, and the user reviews that thousands of actual users voted most helpful. If an app has a 4.5-star average but ten percent of its users rate it one star, we show you that — and we dig into the complaints to find out why.
What makes our reviews different
Every Sub2me review includes things most review sites leave out:
- Ratings breakdown — the full star distribution from Google Play, not just the average, so you can see how polarizing an app really is.
- Real user voices — the most helpful user reviews at the time of writing, including the critical ones, quoted with their helpfulness votes.
- Honest cons in every review — no app is perfect, and a review without weaknesses is an advertisement.
- Permissions transparency — the device permissions each app requests, listed plainly, because you deserve to know before you install.
- Verified essentials — developer, install counts, in-app purchase ranges, and content ratings, straight from official store data.
